Higher Sensitivity The
resonance capacity of the PerioProbe allows for highly sensitive registration of
subgingival calculus and excess restorative material during examination.
More Accurate
The PerioProbe is made of white thermoplastic with black markings. This
provides higher contrast with oral tissues for more accurate measurement of the
periodontal pocket. It is especially useful for measurements in the distal region of the
oral cavity.
More Patient-Friendly
The PerioProbe is flexible and easier to introduce into the sulcus,
facilitating assessment of the apical extent of the pocket. The spherical ball tip helps
in the detection of subgingival calculus or other roughness of the tooth surface while at
the same time makes the procedure more comfortable for the patient.
Reusable and Disposable
The PerioProbe is a disposable instrument. For multiple uses it may be
safely cold sterilized or autoclaved at temperatures up to 160-180 degree C.
Use with Confidence
The PerioProbe is the result of the latest in thermoplastic technology. It
is virtually non-abrasive in use and cannot mar the surface of any restoration. It is
especially safe for use around all implants.
